MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been affected by his international popularity. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for the year 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It peaked at number eight on the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. Mala Influencia, made available in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album that year. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is an essential part of his life. As a child he learned to play the saxophone and the ukulele, and piano. While his initial career goal was to be a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian advised him to begin taking singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
