Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 1982) is a well-known American actor. She is most famously known for her role appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington located in Ohio dropped out of high school, and relocating to Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. The actress landed her first part in the film, Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. The television film Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the main actress in Lost for its first two seasons. In 2004, she was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award with the entire ensemble. Grace was dropped from the series in the year 2005, to take on a more significant role in film, appearing opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. She starred in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) with Liam Neeson. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day interpretation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon's part in Lost for two more episodes, which included the series final. In 2013, Grace appears in Californianation, the 6th season. She is Faith an actress who is a muse for celebrities and attracts the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). A member of the Gyllenhaal clan, she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and is the younger sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens her career began in small roles for her father. She was also in Donnie Darko along with her twin brother. Then she appeared on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in both the action drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the romance comedy Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. Following a string of commercially successful movies in 2006, including World Trade Center she received greater recognition for her performance as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). Following her acclaimed performance as a mother who is not married in Crazy Heart (2009), she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The subsequent roles she has played include Nanny McPhee as well as in the Big Bang and Hysteria. In addition to her role as a Secret Service agent, she also appeared as a character in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). The most recent roles include the protagonist of the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal debuted as a writer and director in 2021 with her psychological drama The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award.
